‘Coast to Coast for Kids’ is a 3,000km bicycle ride starting at the top of far north Queensland in Cooktown and finishing in Sydney.

Founding members David Bonne and Scott Gilbertson, both novice cyclists, have been personally touched by life changing experiences attempting to start a family. 

Choosing charities close to their heart, the ride will raise much needed funding and awareness for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Tumbatin Clinic and the Bonnie Babes Foundation.

About The Ride

The C2C journey will commence on Friday 13th August 2010 at Cooktown in far North Queensland. The ride will take 30 days and finishes in Sydneys Centennial Park on Saturday 11th September. The team will endure a variety of conditions and harsh terrain. 5 rest days have been scheduled to preserve the riders physical and mental condition.

The route was strategically planned to ensure sponsors gain maximum exposure and the charities receive much needed awareness. Fundraising events are being planned at each stop over location. We are encouraging the community to get involved with your local event and donate generously for this wonderful cause.
